Roller Lacer® Clipper SERIAL NUMBER RL-84410 1854 Northridge Drive, NW Walker, MI 49544 USA www.flexco.com FLEXCO Operating Instructions: 1. Select proper size hook and insert into face strip. Insert lacer pin. Remove carding paper if it covers hook points. If carding paper does not cover hook points, remove after hooks have been installed. 2. Insert belt into lacer between hook points. Secure belt by closing belt clamps. 3. Open rollers by turning adjusting knob clockwise. Position lacer head over hooks and close rollers until rollers touch hooks. Move lacer head to either belt edge. Turn adjusting knob another 1-1/2 turns counterclockwise. 4. Using drive handles, move lacer head across belt width, embedding hooks. Close adjusting knob 1/2 tum for each pass, until hooks are properly installed: 1) 1/2 to 1/3 of the wire diameter is embedded into belt cover; 2) hook points break belt surface. 5. Remove lacer pin. Loosen belt clamps and remove belt.
To Secure Face Strip Loosen hex screw to rotate Retaining Latch for Face Strip removal and insertion. H
NOTE: This lacer requires a new, 3-Layer Face Strip. Previous 2-Layer Face Strips will not function properly in this lacer.
